Cambridge Garden Party

We had a great time playing for a 60th birthday party in a garden in north Cambridge last week. The guests braved the sudden onset of autumn in early September, and danced with spirit and rhythm, which always cheers us, and in this case provoked high quality jokes in Greg’s calling. We always play better when the dancing is good, so it was most enjoyable – and we also met old friends from Victoria Park and from the Cambridge folk scene. Probably our last outdoor gig of the year – the nights are drawing in ….

We’ve had a nice message from our host. She says: “Lovely music, great band, able to keep calm and carry on even as first rain for 3 months threatened to wreck evening.”
